What is the Dollar EXPRESS Renter Rewards Program?
The Dollar EXPRESS Renter Rewards program enables Dollar EXPRESS members to earn credits towards a free rental on qualifying rentals at participating U.S. Dollar locations. Members earn one free rental day after earning 16 credits, and one day equals one credit. Learn more >.

Who is eligible?
Renter Rewards is open to all new and existing Dollar EXPRESS members. You must select Renter Rewards as your preferred loyalty partner.

How can I earn rewards credits?
Choose Renter Rewards as your preferred loyaly partner in your profile or on your enrollment form. We will award you a reward certificate for one day when you earn 16 credits. You earn one credit for each day you rent. A rental day is based on a 24-hour rental day starting at the time of the rental.

How do I make sure I get my credits?
Dollar EXPRESS members must provide their member IDs at the time a reservation is made or at the time of rental to receive Renter Rewards credits. We'll automatically credit your account balance after every rental.

How long are my credits valid?
Credits are valid for one year from the date of issue as long as the Renter Rewards program is still in existence.

How long do I have to wait to receive my credits?
Members should allow at least 3 to 4 weeks from the conclusion of rental for credits to be posted to your Rewards account. To receive your rewards certificate, please ensure that your address is up to date in your profile.

How do I use rewards certificates?
Rewards certificates are valid for use on rentals of Compact, Mid-size and Full-size cars. Rewards certificates may only be redeemed for rentals within the U.S. in accordance with the location's terms and conditions, and are subject to availability and must be surrendered at time of transaction. Just make a reservation using the promotion code on the certificate and bring your certificate with you when you pick up your rental.

As of March 18, 2009, Dollar Rent A Car has implemented excess mileage charges at locations in the continental United States on rentals of Minivans. Mileage charges will apply at a rate of $0.25 per mile and will only apply to those customers who drive in excess of the established mileage caps of 150 miles per day on daily rentals, and 1,050 miles per week on weekly rentals. Base rental rates on these vehicles will not be impacted by this change, and the charges are not applicable to locations in Hawaii. The Dollar EXPRESS reward certificate covers base rental rates for one day.
